Our first two weeks here in
were full of trips to town to love people.
We had many opportunities to work in pairs or small groups walking
around the city to talk with people and pray for them. Mette, a teammate from , found
a Guatemalan man who spoke Danish, so she enjoyed conversing with him. Our teammates, Lisa and Clara, speak Spanish
and are so helpful on these outings – their ability to interpret and translate
is a huge blessing. Being in town with
Joy and her 11-month-old son, Elijah, is also wonderful because Elijah attracts
We regularly have the privilege of facilitating Kids’ Club meetings here at the YWAM Antigua base. So far we put together several programs for the meetings, which usually last 1.5 hours. We all enjoy singing and dancing with the kids. Our team led two Monday night church services that are held in English. These are great opportunities for our team members to share testimonies and preach because we have no language barrier.
